Is the firmware any good? Is it full of bugs?
I think all of us want a dependable, good sounding music player at a reasonable cost. It’s probably a good bet that you don’t want to be compelled to become an electronics expert just to use your player and put media on it.
What a disappointment to want to listen to your favorite song, or watch a video and not have a good experience with your new electronic player.
So Here's What I Do For You.
I took it upon myself, due to my own personal frustrations, to make your life a little easier. I purchase as many of these indispensable tools as I can and completely go over them to give the best consumer review that anyone could ask for.
You are the winner here, benefiting not from your expense, but mine, and the numerous MP3 players I have purchased and used to help you become more informed and allow you to finally settle down with the perfect player and not be faced with possible disappointment.

So why are you looking for an MP3 player?
Why not just use your Smartphone?
Smartphones are able to do so much including replace the MP3 player. But many people either don't have a Smartphone or simply do not want to use it for entertainment. Smartphones are horribly expensive, and due to their larger size become cumbersome. You would hate to break one due to use in risky activities, so a cheap mp3 player, something that won’t break your bank is just what you want.
It doesn’t have to be as smart as your phone. All of the players that I review are at about $100 US and less. There are a lot
of players in this price range and many of them are simple to use and sound very, very good, maybe even better than a Smartphone.
If you like to run or do any other exercise, you have probably found that the size and weight of a Smartphone or other equally large player can be an impediment to you. Settle down with something smaller while you get away.
Do you want an iPod Contender?
Known for their quality and clever interface, Apple’s iPod seems to have the market. However, there are those of us who don’t want to pay the high price and are wondering if there is something else to compare for less money.
How many times have you heard that you MUST buy an iPod to have a good product? Well, you don't. There is no need to pay the price for equal and often better quality, and there's no need to feel down because all of your friends bought one and you didn't.
If you get away from the whole Apple thing, amazing convenient opportunities await you. You will not be tied down to iTunes which can be slow and won't recognize anything but an iPod without 3rd party software. Simply drag and drop through Windows Explorer or use Windows Media Player.
There are a lot of options available in MP3 players.
Perhaps you want to watch videos, or you want to have an FM tuner to listen to your favorite stations. Want an eBook reader to download a book and read on the go? High quality sound is important and so are multiple file formats.
There are plenty of high quality name brand MP3 players that sound great and have enough memory for days of music for much less than a Hundred dollars.
Whatever your reasons for shopping for an MP3 player and the features you want in one, I am sure that you will find the information you will read to be of benefit to you.
